I am a co-investigator on the $24 million CAD New Frontiers in Research Fund (NFRF) Transformation Grant, Co-designing a Smartwear Revolution: Augmenting Mobility, Independence, and Ability through Transformative Clothing Technology. This project advances assistive technology by developing smartwear garments with built-in sensors to improve balance, reduce injuries, and support individuals with muscle weakness.

The project brings together an interdisciplinary team of designers, engineers, clinicians, caregivers, and people with lived experience. I lead the patternmaking team and contribute to the technical product development group, and co-design planning.
