In 2024, I delivered the keynote Design for Equity, Shaping Futures at the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) Women in Design Deep Dive in Philadelphia. My talk explored how design artifacts shape sex, gender, and intersectional equity and inequity, and how designers can challenge dominant norms to contribute to more equitable futures.
