In 2022, I spoke at the Goethe-Institut New York as part of the NYCxDesign Festival. My lecture examined the legacy of Dieter Rams’ Principles of Good Design, considering their continued influence and the need to rethink them in light of contemporary social, environmental, and professional contexts. Speaking from a feminist perspective, I proposed a messier and divergent vision of “good design” for today.
