I gave a lecture at the Goethe-Institut New York on the legacy of Dieter Rams’ Principles of Good Design. I explored the contemporary impact of Rams’ work and areas where his Principles of Good Design can be rethought in relation to contemporary social, environmental and professional contexts. Speaking from a feminist lens, I suggested a messy and divergent vision of good design in 2022.
